What is Tawhid ?
তাওহীদ কি?
Introduction and Types of Tawheed:
The meaning of Tawheed is: To single out Allah Ta'ala with all His rights, to attribute Allah Ta'ala's qualities exclusively to Him, and not to associate anyone else with any of Allah Ta'ala's attributes or actions.
1) Tawhidur Rububiyyah.
2) Tawhidul Uluhiyyah.
3) Tawhidul Asma-us-sifat.
(1) Tawhidur Rububiyyah:
This means acknowledging the oneness of Allah Ta'ala in His Lordship. It involves not associating any partners with Him in matters of Rububiyyah (Lordship). It is to accept Allah Ta'ala as the Sovereign of the heavens and the earth, recognizing Him as the Provider, Creator, Owner, Giver of life, and Bringer of death, and not associating anyone else with Him in these matters. Many disbelieving communities in the past also acknowledged this type of Tawhid. Even the polytheists of Mecca at that time accepted this form of Tawhid.
তাওহীদের পরিচয় প্রকারভেদ :
তাওহীদের অর্থ হলো : আল্লাহ তাআলা কে তার যাবতীয় হক সহ পৃথক করা, আল্লাহ তা'আলার গুনাগুন গুলো আল্লাহ তাআলার জন্যই নির্ধারণ করা অন্য কাউকে আল্লাহ তাআলার কোন গুণ বা কর্মের মধ্যে শরিক না করা।
১) তাওহিদুর রুবুবিয়্যাহ।
২) তাওহিদুল উলুহিয়্যাহ।
৩) তাওহিদুল আসমাউস সিফাত।
অর্থাৎ রব হওয়ার ক্ষেত্রে আল্লাহ তায়ালার তাওহীদ একত্ববাদকে স্বীকার করা। রুবুবিয়াত এর ক্ষেত্রে তার সাথে কাউকে শরিক না করা। আসমান জমিনের অধিপতি হিসেবে আল্লাহ তায়ালাকে মেনে নেওয়া। রাজেক খালেক মালেক জীবনদাতা-কারি, মৃত্যুদানকারী হিসেবে আল্লাহতালাকে স্বীকার করে নিয়ে এইসব বিষয়ে আল্লাহ তায়ালার সাথে অন্য কাউকে শরিক না করা। অতীতের অনেক কাফের সম্প্রদায়ও তাওহীদের এই প্রকারকে স্বীকার করত। তখনকার মক্কার মুশরিকরাও এই প্রকারের তাওহীদ কে স্বীকার করত।
